CAP Receives $2,500 Grant for Food and Clothing from The Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund

CAP is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a $2,500 grant from The Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund to purchase food and clothing for participants in our CareLink program.

CareLink primarily serves people living with HIV who have been out of care for more than six months, typically due to significant barriers such as homelessness, mental illness, and/or substance-use disorder. By providing program participants with basic necessities like food and clothing—along with intensive, one-on-one support in accessing treatment—CareLink helps give them the stability and energy they need to address their complex health needs.

This award comes as many granting organizations shift focus to providing COVID-19 relief support. “Given the social and economic challenges our families and communities face at this time, the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund prioritized the needs of helping people and organizations meet these challenges over other types of requests,” says Denise Garrett, Board Secretary of The Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund.

We are grateful to The Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund for this funding to further support those living with HIV during this unprecedented time.
