Ways to Support Tod’s Corner
Tod’s Corner Namesake
Tod's Corner is named for Tod Hutchins, who died of AIDS at the age of 33. He was the first son in a family of four children, with many cousins, aunts and uncles. He grew up surrounded and loved by his family. He was the first in the family to attend college.
Tod rushed to meet and embrace life. He was eager to see new places and try new adventures. He travelled frequently and was always planning his next trip.
Tod was generous to all. He was sensitive to others' feelings and needs. He often gave friends and family members much-needed "pick-me-ups". He was active in a number of AIDS support and prevention groups.
Tod faced his dying gallantly. He was greatly supported by his Portland friends, for which his family will always be grateful.
Tod's Corner represents an appropriate memorial to Tod's generous, sensitive spirit. He is missed.
